A. Our beach restoration project is still underway. With over 120 feet of beach we are proud to say that we have the largest and the best beach on Holiday Isle. See the photos to the right.
Q. How far is The Islander's building from the Gulf of Mexico?
A. The Islander is located on the Gulf of Mexico; just a short walk and you are on the beach.
Q. How large are the units?
A. The units are 980 Square Feet and contain two bedrooms and two baths.
Q. What nearby restaurants and activities are available?
A. Destin, the luckiest fishing village, is known for its fresh seafood and variety of fish available at local restaurants. Destin not only offers wonderful restaurants nearby, but the family can enjoy Big Kahunas Water Park, The Track Family Recreation Center, dolphin cruises, kayaking, snorkeling, charter boat fishing, golfing, putt-putt golf, shopping, and much more. Q. Is the beach service (chairs and umbrella) included with the cost of the room?
A. The beach service costs $25.00 for the first day and $20.00 per day there after as long as they are reserved. This service includes two chairs and an umbrella. The cost can be charged to your room at the front desk. Please note that The Islander is not affiliated with the beach service and the beach services is owned and operated as an individual business outside of The Islander.
Q. Can you rent jet skis or parasail?
A. Yes, there are plenty of jet skis or parasail rental available around Destin.
