Islander Condo #102 is an East View, Gold Unit that sleeps up to 6 people. Avoid the elevators with this ground floor unit. Step into our tropical paradise conveniently located for quick and easy access to the beach or your choice of two pools.
The updated kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances for all your cooking needs. Gather around the dining room table that seats 6 or relax in the living area to watch the 42” Smart TV with digital cable access and a DVD player. There is a queen sleeper sofa available for guests.
The master bedroom boasts a king size bed, and a 32” TV and DVD/VCR combo. The bathroom has been recently been updated with new double sink vanity. The guest bedroom has bunks with a twin on top and a full on the bottom, and a 32” TV with a DVD player. The guest bathroom has been updated with a vanity.
There is tile throughout with carpet in the bedrooms. The pool and Destin's beach are conveniently located outside your 1st floor walk-out patio that is steps away from Destin's Beach.

It was our first time to the Islander. It was in a great location close to the beach shopping eating and other attractions. Loved it was so glad my son and daughter-in-law chose the Islanders for their wedding the beach scenery was amazing a prefect wedding!

Great! Only problem was the beds were very uncomfortable. Otherwise no problems!

We had a great experience staying here again. This is our second time staying here and we love it. The rooms are very clean. the beach and pool are easily accessible and very nice!

This is our 14 year to stay at the Islander. We love the property for its convenience to Destin restaurants and attractions. We choose Unit 102 each year because of the nice grassy area behind the unit, and the ease of beach access.

My stay at the Islander is always a welcoming time for a break in winter. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Units are clean and very functional. Ceiling in guest bathroom was starting to crumble.

It was a very enjoyable vacation but I was disappointed in the condo. It was a "gold" but not very nice. The couch was so broken down that it was very uncomfortable and the rug in the master bedroom was filthy. We had to ask the front desk for a spatula, which they immediately supplied us. The decorating in the unit was very bare minimum and not as nice as most of the units we have used.

Even with lots of construction/updates going on we had a great week at the Islander...hardly noticed any noise or disruption in the fun! Meghan in the office was just great! Hoping to return next year!!

I would recommend the Condo in general, however I would not recommend the room 102. We had 3 very large cockroaches flying and crawling on the walls. We also noticed a few large dead cockroaches next to the large couch that were dead. Before leaving the condo we checked under the bed for anything that could've slipped under the bed and noticed 4-5 large dead cockroaches under there as well. Very disturbing and nasty feeling with all of those bugs that were 2-3 inches in size. Also, a few times while sitting around the pool there was a strong odor of someone smoking marijuana in the area, a few loud families and "party people" the last 3 years we have stayed it had seemed like a very family/kid friendly environment but not after our last stay.

So disappointed in our stay & upset that now I have to dispute erroneous charges! Master TV did not work, 2nd bedroom TV not connected, 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, no ice, no lightbulbs in 3 lamps, 7 roaches found in room, 3 more after they sprayed, bathroom light bar randomly works, snake was found on patio. Beach area crowded mess. Access to water entirely blocked by chairs, non-guests & loud music. THEN was charged $500 for smoking (on the patio) - after we were home. I hope that this can be rectified. We have been coming here since 1999 renting 2 or 3 units, BUT this situation is unacceptable!
