The condo was very nice.

Moeller Madness

By: Trip Date: 2018-07-21
We rented 9 condos and had a great experience with all but 1. Rental unit 104 was terrible. We paid a lot of money and there was paint pealing off the wall, doors are pealing, walls are patched not painted in the living, counter top peeling, and the worse thing were the mouse holes in the wood under the kitchen sink and the showers are rusted. We spent over 17,000 for the week and everything was awesome except that one unit. I feel you should not rent the unit until you do some work on it. Otherwise we have stayed at the Islander and loved it. Thanks you so much for letting us use the palm room for our dinner.Everything else you offer is amazing and that is why we continue to come back!!

We enjoyed it so much!! Perfect location on the property!

Wonderful place to call home for our vacation

By: Trip Date: 2018-03-12
This Unit 118 at The Islander Destin was just right for our group of four. The boys each had their own twin bed in the guest room and we enjoyed the big king bed in the master. The appliances are all new or like new and worked perfectly. It was nice to have an ice maker. We have stayed at The Islander multiple times before, but this was our first visit to this unit. We would gladly return.
No there is not a view of the water from the 1st floor, but we made do and enjoyed the place just fine!

Hitt Family Vacation

By: Trip Date: 2017-10-10
The Hitt Family Vacation is always a blast. We love staying at The Islander. We have stayed there many times and the last 3 years, we have stayed on the first level. There are lots of children that come during the week we are there in October and the grounds on the West view side are great for them to play in. Also loved Noni's Ark this year and all her animals.

The Islander was doing some painting and general maintenance work. Our stay was not the least bit disturbed by this work or the workers.

Thank you again for a wonderful stay!

Family Fun Time

By: Trip Date: 2017-08-25
We had a great experience at The Islander. Our only complaint was the check in, we were still waiting for the unit to be cleaned at 4 p.m. & NO ONE was in the unit since the day before. The staff seemed unconcerned & impatient when we asked when someone could start on it. They stated that the entire cleaning staff was let go the day before.

Great value condominium

By: Trip Date: 2017-08-18
The condo was really nice and cozy. They supplied lots of towels, which was nice. I only wish they would have had more toilet paper available, we didn't even have an extra roll. All of the amenities in the condo were extremely nice and clean. Their wasn't much noise like you have when you are in a hotel. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Great vacation

We always have a great time when staying at The Islander!

Great vacation despite the weather.. Enjoyed room 118

Most important, need to have front gate working.. It keeps unwanted visitors out.. Need to patrol a little more at night to control the noise. I hate to say this, but you may need to raise your rates a little to control the type of clientele you are getting.
