Islander Condo #208 is an East View, Gold Unit that sleeps up to 6 people. Avoid the elevators with easy access to the ground floor and parking lot via the stairs near the condo. Step into our tropical paradise conveniently located for quick and easy access to the beach or your choice of two pools.
The kitchen has been updated with new cabinets, granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances, a Keurig, and is fully equipped with all the tools to meet your cooking needs. Gather around the dining room table that seats 6 or relax in the living area with updated furniture to watch the 32” TV with DVD player and digital cable access. There is a queen sleeper sofa available for guests.
The master bedroom boasts new furniture with a king size bed, and a 32” TV. The guest bedroom has 2 new twin sized beds, and a 32” TV.
Venture out to the private balcony and view the boats entering and leaving the harbor through the east pass or one of the breathtaking sunsets an evening can offer.

Unit 208 at The Islander in Destin was so wonderful. Great location, clean, friendly staff. Unit 208 is perfect because of the view of the ocean and as a mom, it was great to be able to sit on the deck and be able to watch my kids in the pool right outside our room.

My wife and I vacation to the gulf coast often. When looking to book I have a few items that are musts. The condo must be clean. It must be close to restaurants and attractions. There must be amenities. The islander checks all those boxes. Easy check in, clean rooms, nice pool, beach access with free beach chairs and umbrella. Couldn’t ask for more!

My family and I rented this for a quick Spring Break. Although March was still a little chilly, the heated pool saved our vacation. The condo was clean and comfortable. The unit was clean and family friendly. We would definitely stay again!

This place was clean and close to the beach. Beds were comfortable. Air conditioning works great! Kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils. Bring your own seasoning. Front desk staff was friendly.

Our stay was very nice! Great view of pool and ocean, as well as easy beach access. The bathrooms do need an update, and I prefer a washer and dryer in unit. But, overall, very nice and great location!

This place is perfect for my family of 4. This unit is close to the stairs, main entrance, no need to wait for elevator. Unit has everything one would need for a week at the beach! We like the quiet location of The Islander, private beach access. A LOT of guests returning year after year and it's easy to see why.

We loved the Islander! The location was perfect, the staff was courteous, and we felt safe leaving our 13 and 14 year olds at the pool while we spent time at the beach. We will definitely be returning!

Unit was not as clean as I would prefer (previous guests' items left behind), but management took care of it.

Cozy! you feel home as soon as you open the door. Clean and everything in place, peaceful, the apartment has everything you actually need. Almost Everything was perfect in the apartment and the service.
However, AT THE BEACH, the only thing we will change is that when you go to the beach, the chairs and umbrellas offer by the Condo are so near to the persons next to you that we could not even have a nice conversation without them to listen to everything. There were a family of four all adults who got there after us, and brought a speaker to play their music. Around them were five people reading including me and we all have to close our books. The peacefulness and the joy disappears. The umbrellas are placed in horseshoe shape and all the guests from the rentals are almost on top of each other. We went one day to the beach by the condo and, the second day we went to the beach after 6 pm and brought the chairs from the apartment and the next six days we went to another beach because of the reasons mentioned above.
We will ABSOLUTELY go back but definitely wont enjoy the crowd at the beach from 11am to 5 pm

First time to Destin àfter much research decided on the islander and my unit 208 liked that islander was not on main strip and down toward the entrance to harbor. Islander staff was always very nice and grounds were very well kept. Pools were very nice and warm. With just a 75 yard walk you were on the beach sunning and enjoying you time. Beach was beautiful and the guys always had you a seat and umbrella which 2 are included with your room. My unit was clean with nice kitchen. Enjoyed the fact it had its own bathroom off the bedroom and bedroom had a ceiling fan to move the cool ac air around. Spent much time on balcony enjoying the sights and having happy hour. Would highly recommend this unit and place.
