Unit # 305 accommodates up to 6 people with a king bed, 32’’ TV in the master bedroom, 2 twin beds in the guest bedroom 18'’ TV and a sleeper sofa in the living room with 48’’ TV. Bedrooms and living room are equipped with flat screen TV/DVD. The unit is non-smoking .. This unit is centrally located in the building which enhances your view of the beautiful Destin Emerald Coast and the pool/hot tub.

We have stayed in this unit 4 times. It’s always nice. We enjoy the location, amenities and the beach service is always great. I feel like our unit could have been cleaner; I vacuumed on the second day we were there, the walls were dirty. The unit could use a good scrub, but overall we enjoyed our stay! we will return to the Islander again; we may try a different unit, or hope that if we use the same unit again, that it is cleaner.

We stayed in Unit 305 as always and it never disappoints. The owners are wonderful, the condo is beautiful and always updated. The beds are comfortable. It has a great view from the balcony. We love it at the Islander. The whole place is well taken care of, great staff and Alan the beach guy who does the chairs and umbrellas is the best. We’ll be back next year!

My sons and I made our first visit to Destin this past week and we loved every minute of our stay. The unit was very clean and well laid out. Beds slept well and the living room furniture was very comfortable. We enjoyed having the towel service and having chairs and an umbrella was very nice!

The resort was great for our budget, and close to the beach. Unit was very pleasant and clean, though the main TV was not working and was not fixed during our stay. Tennis courts were closed due to damage in last's years hurricane and this was not disclosed on the website. Loud music by the pool from 10 to 10pm on weekend reverberated across the resort.

It was okay. Other guests brought their own umbrellas and set them up across the front of the beach and blocked everyone else's view. That was quite disappointing.

My daughter wanted to go beach so we decided to go to Destin, FL and stayed at Islander from 11/23/19-11/27/19. The weather was nice and we enjoyed a great holiday. My daughter enjoyed collecting seashells at the beach and swimming in pool. The hot tub was also nice.

My Wife and I took our vacation at the Islander Resort 8-31/9-7-19. Everything about this vacation was perfect. The unit, #305, was super clean and very convenient to everything around Destin. The master bath is super roomy and pretty, and made it easy for a couple to share the space. The unit is very well laid out, we had a guest stay with us for 3 nights, and it was very comfortable for all. The front desk staff were very helpful with giving us ideas of great food, tours etc.....The balcony overlooks the pool, (beautiful), and the ocean, (breathtaking). The Beach, beautiful white sand and the water crystal clear and turquoise. The restaurant selection is unbelievable. Everything so close. We ate such great seafood, happy hours at a few favorite places and we will go back to this place in a heartbeat.

Overall I was extremely pleased with my stay at the Islander. Our Condo (305) was a bit dated, but for the most part had everything we could need for our stay. Kitchen was well outfitted and there were Plenty of towels. Beds were comfortable. My only complaint was the couch. It had a piece of plywood under the cushions to "firm" it up...which it the point of being hard as a rock.
The beach was excellent. White sand and emerald water as advertised. An easy walk with all of our gear. Alan, the beach attendant was very friendly and helpful. It was nice having the beach service included so we didn't have to worry about chairs.
Both pools were warm and clean. The kids loved having that option as we had a couple of cooler days that we didn't want to go out to the beach. Typical issues with people "claiming" chairs early in the morning and not showing up to use them until late afternoon or even at all.
The grounds were very well kept and maintained. Very pretty. Grilling area at the west side of the building was fantastic.
My one complaint for the outside/common area was the tennis courts. I might have missed this, but in all the photos I saw, there were these nice tennis courts shown close to the beach and east pool. Those don't belong to the Islander. Their courts are at the front of the West building and did not have tennis nets up during our visit. They did have pickleball nets, but those are quite a bit smaller and not the same. Not a huge deal, but if you're going to say you have tennis courts, have at least one court to use.

Unit 305 was a lot better than the pictures. Nothing wrong with condition. It felt like a beach condo should feel. Perfect. Everything we needed. Condition of the whole complex was perfect. Desk Staff were wonderful and helpful. I am was ecstatic we refrained from paying a kings ransome for one of the other places that are in a gridlocked area, and gouged patrons for everything. Absolutely loved and appreciated the Islander.

This is a wonderful room to stay in. A beautiful view and very well taken care of. We go to the Islander twice a year if possible and we never know what room we will get. We all had a great time. This is the second time I have rented 305 always has been clean but this time there was sand all over the loveseat the day we checked in from the previous renters. I did not mention it to the office we just cleaned it ourselves. I do love this unit.
