Just a few steps away from the sparkling waters of the Emerald Coast, this beach front vacation rental is located in sunny Destin, Florida. Newly carpeted and freshly painted throughout, this unit provides updated furnishings that include all new bedding, bath and lighting fixtures, floral arrangements, art work, and room seating. Unit 408 accommodates up to 6 people, offering a king-size bed in the master suite, twin beds in the guest room, and a sleeper sofa in the living room 42' TV. Available in the master suite is a new 19” LCD HD television as well as a 22” flat screen LCD HD TV in the guest room. Beach set up is included.

Check in starts at 3pm but the unit may not be ready and clean until 5pm. Unit was very nice and comfortable.

I loved everything about this property. It was very roomy and its furniture was very up to date. It's also very close to the elevator. It has a great view of the pool and beach!

The Islander is an excellent choice to stay in Destin.. This is our 2nd time to stay in Unit 408 and I hope to go many more times. The condo has a great view and the furnishings our wonderful. We are so happy and so relaxed there!

I was a bit afraid to rent here because the condos aren't directly on the beach and because of the reviews of the long walk to the beach... But the walk was nothing! This condo has a great view, great location, was super clean, and they even had some games there we could play. Everything was as described. Our only complaint was with the building itself and not this particular condo - the elevator was not working the entire week we were there and this caused LOTS of waiting around to get up and down.

I was happy with everything. The only minor detail I would mention is that on the website, the spare bedroom looks like it has two queen beds in it and they were twin beds. The twin beds were not comfortable and very noisy when you changed positions. The condo itself is beautiful and has a wonderful view. We really enjoyed our stay very much.

East Beach View Platinum was perfect! Renovated, very clean, and spacious. It has everything you need for staying. Not mentioning a pool, private beach access and excellent staff! We will definitely be back! We had incredible time with friends and family!

We had a lovely week end stay at the islander. Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful and the resort grounds were well maintained. It was our first time in Destin and I must say I was pleasantly surprised, there was a lot to do with many shops and restaurants. We will definitely come back to Destin and we will definitely stay at the islander.

This was our first time back to The Islander in probably 15 years. The condo we stayed in has been updated and is beautiful inside. Great location. Our air went out mid week but was fixed the same day. Ice machine wasn't working but not an issue as we had bagged ice. Everything else was wonderful. The umbrella/chair set up was very handy. First come, first served which was an experience on 4th of July week as it was very crowded but we managed just fine.

We loved our rental. This was the perfect size for our family. I loved that we were able to have free chair service. I also thought it was cool they had the grocery carts available to help get your groceries to your condo. We will most definitely be back.

Unit # 408 at the Islander was beautiful. The new renovations looked great. The unit had a great view, and was very clean and nice. We enjoyed this unit very much, and would stay in it again. It was very updated, and modern, loved the way it was decorated! We love staying at the Islander, very peaceful and quiet. The staff is wonderful, can't wait to visit again.

It was amazing, this is the second time we've stayed there. The distance to the ocean is great, the pools on the property are really nice and kept clean, They are a little small for as busy as it is there, sometimes hard to get a chair and pools are busy. The staff was really nice. Our condo was really updated and nice but I feel like it was not as clean this time. When we checked in our kitchen was dirty, stains on the wall and pantry doors, a mess in the corner of the floor and cabinets which I went down to see if they'd come back and clean and nobody ever did, looked like previous renters spilled something and didn't clean it up. But that was my only complaint. It's in a good location to town but just far enough away to. The only thing lacking is a tiki bar/snack bar, something to grab a drink or snack during the day when your just lounging.

Overall nice place with updated appliances however Unit above was very noisy and had us up until 3am with their partying.
