This beach front vacation condo rental is located in Destin Florida along the Emerald Coast. Condo rental #413 accommodates up to 6 people with a king in the master bedroom 32' TV, 2 twin beds (that can be converted into a king bed with 'Easy King') in the guest bedroom 24' TV, and a sleeper sofa in the living room 42' TV. This unit has two HDTVs. Destin's Beach is just steps away with a beautiful view from your private balcony.

Destin vacation rental 413 has been completely remodeled and professionally redecorated in a West Indies “Tommy Bahama” style. The unit has new tile floors, brand new furnishings and décor throughout. The living room has new furniture, artwork, lighting, & 42” HDTV with 3.1 sound. The kitchen is updated to include a Keurig Duo for the use of pods or a pot of coffee and the dining room offers a new table, chairs, bar stools, and settings. Both bedrooms have new mattresses, bedding, furniture, TVs and plantation shutters. The Master Bedroom has 32” HDTV.

"Location is great - pools great - wrist band cards convenient.

Our unit was super dated! I felt like we were back in 1999.

The resort only has 6 washing machines and 4 dryers (coin operated) for EVERYBODY staying there to do their laundry.

We could only get new towels on Tuesdays & Thursdays (unless we spent money to wash what we had). Being at the beach & sandy, we wanted fresh towels daily.

Linens were never changed. :(

Front desk was nice- but not very communicative about how things worked.

Nice condo and view

"The condo was nice and clean and had all of the amenities you would need while on vacation. I was worried about having enough towels for our stay since there wasn’t a washer or dryer in the room, but there were plenty of clean towels and the towel exchange was really convenient too. The only issue we had was a strong fish smell when we walked into our condo. We determined it was coming from the refrigerator b/c every time it was opened it smelled like crabs. So, we wished the refrigerator would have been thoroughly cleaned and deodorized before our arrival. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

"This is our 6th time staying at The Islander. We love it here. I liked the location of this unit, though the mattress's could stand to be replaced. My 14 yr old son slept on the pull out couch and it was pretty old as well and we ended up going to buy an air mattress. Aside from that, it was another great experience and we look forward to coming back next year.

"The Islander is always wonderful. We we’re there the week of April 4 this year but usually go about the middle of March. It has been about 8 years since our last visit. This time I noticed there were more groups of people gathered at the pool and hot tub making it practically impossible to have a turn. I had heard that the one large group comes every year the week of Easter which is their spring break. They occupied the picnic area and the grills in the evenings. Maybe avoiding this week is better or maybe the crowds have just picked up in general. The free beach chairs and umbrella are such a perk not to mention the gorgeous beach. We will continue coming to the Islander. We have stayed in various rooms on both sides and found them to be very nice, quiet and provided with everything you need to have a great vacation.

"Overall very pleased with our rental experience. Check in was a breeze, LOVE the app the ease of communicating if I had any questions. The property management team were quick to respond. The unit was clean, great view from the balcony! My only suggestion, during a non-covid season would be to have a more personal touch meaning other condos we have stayed have had a more homey feeling with suggestions from the owners favorite places to eat and/or things to do, board games, sand toys, even spices in the cabinets. Not a negative, just a more personal touch. The beds were SUPER comfy and we really enjoyed the upgraded bathrooms and kitchen. The location was FANTASTIC!!! The beach service was great and the guys were friendly and helpful. We LOVE Destin and will definitely be back!!

Another great vacation at the Islander 413!

"This is the third time we have stayed at the Islander and the second time we stayed in Condo 413. This is a fantastic location and wonderfully decorated condo. We were extremely comfortable and so thankful the owners are willing to share such a lovely place. We really enjoy the beach in this area and even got to watch several surfers hitting the waves. Everyone is always nice and we love being close to everything. We can't wait to get back to the Islander and the beautiful Destin beaches!!

"It was a nice room and clean. Two things that would have been nice that we have had at other locations. It would have been nice to be able to use the safe without going to the front desk for a key. My suggestion would be a combination code. Also, our flight wasn’t until late the night of checkout so a late checkout would also be a nice option instead of having to pack everything up before 10 am. $25 a hour is really steep for that option when others do it as a courtesy.

"We have never stayed at a Condo before and this as a fantastic first experience. The unit we were in was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. We felt spoiled the entire time we were there. It was so nice to have a view of the ocean from our room and still be close to everything in Destin. You felt like you were in a very private location because you were off the busy section yet you were still within a mile of all the fun stuff. It was a wonderful experience.

It was a Great Week in 413

"Our week in Destin at The Islander was great. We had stayed in 413 about 9 years ago and that was one of the reasons why we returned. We knew the facility, the condo was fantastic, and it was still the same this time. The kitchen had been remodeled, and the surroundings were still great. It is close to everything that we like to do, and the beach staff is so accommodating. We would definitely come back for another vacation.
