Unit 510 accommodates up to 6 people with a king in master bedroom 24' TV, a queen bed and bunk beds in the guest bedroom 24' TV, no sleeper sofa. New 42" Flat screen in the living room and flat screens in both bedrooms. All rooms have been freshly painted to reflect gulf and beach colors accented by new white doors and trim. In November 2011, both bedrooms were redone to include new bedroom furniture and new mattresses. Just steps to the beach a balcony to see the sunset and a view of Ft. Walton Beach coastline. Owner has provided a library of over 100 DVD's for his guests use during their stay. Unit is Non-smoking.

The condo was nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pans etc. living room furniture was also good. No real complaints.

Loved our recent trip to Destin FL. This condo was amazing clean and great views. I was disappointed that there was no fireplace which was the main reason I picked this condo to begin with and walking in it was the first thing I looked for and it wasn’t there which was a huge disappointment as it was colder at the end of September and was Looking forward to turning it on.

Love the Islander. Unit 510 was very nice. We had moved from 503 - Hurricane Ida evacuees - Altogether we spent 7 nights in Destin.

We had a wondered time. The rental was exactly what we could hope for. Loved having breakfast on the balcony and watching the boats in the water. Will definitely return!

Unit was clean, MGMT was helpful and polite. We chose this unit for the bunk beds and it did not disappoint. Loved the large, comfortable beds. Plenty of room for our family of 5.

The only thing I wish this unit had was a washer and dryer in the unit . Other than that it was a fabulous experience!

This property was extremely clean, such a short walk to the beach, and the staff was friendly and helpful. One downside was we were not informed the tennis courts were unavailable and the Islander did not have a relationship with the nearby condos that would allow us to play. Operating the television/cable was a little tricky. Overall this is a great place to stay and we are planning on returning.

The Condos around us let us use theirs's in the winter but during the peak season felt it was not in their best interest. We have directions at the desk for a local park with tennis courts. This property is pleasing to the eye, but has some issues after you start your stay. On our second day, the AC went out. The Islander was very responsive and not only offered us a different unit, but also offered us the option of getting a one-night refund. Since the highest temps were 80 that week, we decided to stay rather than pack everything up (including the fridge/freezer items.) The unit also has several clogged drains and a broken fridge/freezer combo with the freezer ice maker having such a large leak that a huge ice chunk is forming on the bottom of the freezer. Overall, it was ok, definitely livable, but not what I would call great. We'll return to the Islander, but will probably try another unit next time.

We loved the unit. I was nervous not knowing what to expect, but the unit looks better than the pictures show and my 3 boys had a ball. I highly recommend it.
The only issue we had was the remotes had dead batteries so that's bad overall.

We had a great stay at the Islander. Our condo was clean, kitchen well stocked, beds comfortable, leather family area seating with plenty of seating and space! Walk to pools and beach less than five minutes. In the strange world of Covid we had no trouble led distancing from other beach goers, taking the stairs and cooking nice dinners. The water is amazing! Would definitely come back.

We had a wonderful stay in unit 510. The condo was beautiful and up to date on furnishings and decor. Beds are super comfortable and we chose this unit because of the bunk beds and additional bed in the second bedroom giving our family of 5 a comfortable sleeping option other than someone on a sofa bed. We have stayed at the Islander 4 times now and each time has been great! Also love the free beach service. Saves $200 over other condominiums where it’s not included. The location is on the best end of Destin. Water is gorgeous, clear green and the sand is white and soft. We like the west view condo. Watching the boats come in and out of the East pass and the sunsets are gorgeous! More interesting than a standard ocean view.

The condo was very pleasant. Everything was updated and clean. The property is well kept and peaceful. We arrived on a Sunday as a group of 6 and only had 4 wash cloths! I asked for more, but the linen closet was locked. This would be my only complaint

We have been coming to the Islander for about 4 years now and love this little corner of paradise! This was the first time staying in an upper level room and it was amazing! The view of both the bay and the beach were well worth it!

Five stars. I wished the ice maker worked. The front desk staff was very accommodating with bags of ice as needed...thank you! Corey was very good with what needed attention. Beautiful everyday and Alan was awesome on the beach. We left a day early due to our friend ALBERTO..ha. Hope you all are doing well.

We have stayed at the islander several times and have always had a great experience, this time was no different. This unit is great for bigger families, offering a set of bunk beds for our little ones. Mattress in the master is very comfortable. If I had to add anything to improve on, it would only be to add additional cooking utensils. (EX. Tupperware or containers with lids to save leftovers, pot holder, crock pot). When vacationing, it's expensive to eat out especially with children. One of the reasons we stay at the islander is because of the kitchen. We cook a lot, therefore we have leftovers a lot. All in all, great place, highly recommend. We will definitely be back.

This was our second stay at The Islander- but the first stay in 510. My family loved this unit. The furniture was comfortable, the finishes all high end.
