I stayed in 601 for a week. Check in was very easy I was an hr early but I got a pass to go to the pool and beach they got me right in at 3. My room was absolutely amazing the view was perfect. My only complaint would be the towel rack. The day before I left I hung a wet towel up and the whole thing fell out of the wall. I was promised I wouldn’t be charged for it and they honored that. I would definitely recommend staying at the islander!

The condo was directly across from the beach. Perfect view. Wasn’t packed at all. Clean and well maintained. Everyone was kind. Parking was simple. No complaints. Actually one. The trash bags lol! They were real cheap. Maybe some nice ones that can hold up and better toilet paper. That’s it though. I mean we did bring our own just in case but that’s just a suggestion. We definitely would love to come back to this rental.

Very nice resort 2022-05-18

The unit’s balcony, #601, was shady every day which made it pleasant to sit out and enjoy a cocktail. No problems except the living room furniture was lumpy and uncomfortable. However, this unit is being sold so hopefully the new owners will upgrade the loveseat, sofa and chair. Resort staff was very friendly. I do think the $50 “accidental” non refundable charge is a rip off.

My parents invited us to the Islander in 2016 to share a condo they rented. They learned about the Islander from my Uncle who learned from a friend over 20 years ago. We have stayed 3 times since the initial visit.. And each visit had been great. I accidentally booked the wrong room. My wife was not happy with me. The gentleman who checked us in found a condo that my wife loved. He was helpful throughout our stay. Obviously that may not have been possible if the Islander was fully book but I was impressed how he handled the situation. Our condo was clean and comfortable. The master bed was awesome. Staff was very helpful throughout our visit. We could watch the dolphins and boat activity from our room which was nice on rainy days. We definitely are planning to return.

We had a great visit at the Islander. This is our second stay and our unit was stocked and ready for us. We enjoyed the beach - so, so lovely - and pools. We were able to keep our distance, so important for our family.

Our Home Away From Home 2019-04-26

Our experience has always been great. The people at the desk are very friendly and we love Alan, the guy that sets up the umbrella and chairs everyday. We come every Spring Break with at least 20 other families and always have an amazing time. I’m also very happy about the Customer Loyalty Program that was just started. I think it’s great that you reward your returning guests. The only reason why I didn’t give 5 Stars was because under the sink one of the big plastic Tupperware bowls was placed there due to a leak. Some of the kitchen utensils were broken or almost unusable. My sons bathroom sink and toilet weren’t completely clean. The bed in our bedroom dips on each side to where you feel like you may roll out of the bed. I’m not sure that there’s much control over the hangers but we left about 10-15 last year and there was only 5 between both closets. The railing on the corner by our front condo door wasn’t attached completely and had caution tape instead of being fixed. I luckily don’t have any young children but would’ve probably expected to have it fixed or be moved if I did in fear my child would fall to the ground below. We love the Islander and only want to give these recommendations so it can not be overlooked. Thank you and we look forward to coming back in June.

Great location and our room had plenty of room!
Staff was always so friendly and helpful!
Room had a couple damaged areas but nothing major!
Did not like that we couldn’t get the safe key as the people before us had taken the safe key or never returned it! But nothing was touched in our room! Will definitely be coming back and bringing our family and friends!

Notified day before arrival of construction,was unable to use patio for 4 days and had to move the patio furniture in and out,Condo needed repair and updates,large patches of ceiling texture gone in bathroom,did receive discount but would have rather been aware earlier,

All round it wasn't bad but could use some improvements done .
Ceiling in main bathroom is coming off
Had to fix the toilet twice handle kept coming off .
The master bedroom bed needs to be replaced
Kitchen was nice
Rug needs to be replaced looked dirty and worn etc.
it presents itself as old and dated .
