The Islander unit 607 is located on secluded Holiday Isle in Destin Florida along the Emerald Coast. This beach front vacation condo rental accommodates up to 6 people with a king in the master bedroom 32' TV, full in the guest bedroom, and a premium mattress sleeper sofa in the living room. Destin's sugar-white sand beach and emerald waters are just steps away and can also be enjoyed with a beautiful view from your private balcony.
The Islander unit 607 is completely renovated with unobstructed gulf views, new furniture in both bedrooms, dining room, and living room including a leather Lazy Boy recliner. Other updates include: keyless entry, relocated refrigerator to improve sightlines, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, Keurig coffee pot, ceiling fans and large flat screen TVs in every room, vinyl plank flooring and mirrored sliding doors in both bedrooms, new glass shower doors, new sliding glass balcony door leading to panoramic views, and an oversized walk-in shower in the master bath.

absolutely the best. We love the Islander and their staff. Unit 607 is an awesome unit. We retired last year and stayed 2.5 months while waiting on our home to be ready. We now live in Pensacola and still choose The Islander to vacation. Our group had 4 units for a week. Everyone had a great time.

Unit 607 was amazing! The views off of the balcony and the master bedroom were better than I could have ever hoped for! The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable if you’re not from around the area, and the beach is a slice of heaven. This place is awesome for family trips or for girls trips!!

A beautiful view with a condo that is decorated so great it’s just not all the leftover stuff is decorated with a purpose in mind. It’s great not having to load up the car to go to the beach all you do is walk through the courtyard and you’re on the beach. We for sure love this place

It was great! Condo was perfect. No problems. Loved the decorating. The refrigerator being moved to a different spot than my last rental was so much better. The short walk to the beach was very nice. Already have my reservation for next year!

We stayed in unit 607 in August, 2019. It was absolutely PERFECT!! The location can't get much better than this. It is a 5 minute walk from the lobby to the sand!! Decor in the condo very very nice, comfort color throughout, super clean. The pictures are very accurate. When you open the front door, it's like stepping into the ocean. Staff very friendly and helpful. I have already referred few of my friends. Already have started planning our next visit!!!!

Our vacation in Destin was just awesome as usual. Condo 607 was gorgeous! I love the openness, the cute beach decor, the updated bathrooms and bedroom furniture. My only suggestion would be to add more storage in the kitchen, perhaps a full-height open shelving unit in place of the short one beside the refrigerator. We bring lots of food, but had no place to store it. I like to keep the counters clear if possible. It is truly a beautiful condo!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Islander and the condition and decor of Unit 607 was just what we were looking for. We loved it and will stay there again. Having the 2 beach chairs and an umbrella was a great bonus for our family. The price was reasonable and the location was the perfect spot for us.

We had a wonderful trip staying at The Islander. It is such a peaceful place, with a warm, welcoming staff. Unit 607 was beautiful, and had everything we needed. We enjoyed eating at McGuire's Irish Pub, and also enjoyed The Southern Star dolphin cruise. We have been staying at The Islander for many years, great condos with beautiful views.

We had an amazing time and it was a beautiful condo. We will definitely be back for our 1 year anniversary hoping to get this unit again. Loved the decor. The only thing is I think the floors could have been mopped better prior to check in. Front desk clerks Kia and Kendall were awesome to!

The unit we stayed in was beautiful but seemed to have a lot of maintenance problems. We checked in on Saturday and immediately noticed that the condo was unusually warm. Turned the AC down and left to go grocery shopping for the week. We came back that night and it was even hotter in the unit. After calling down to the front desk an employee came up to see what was going on with the air, fiddled with it for a few minutes, left, then called about an hour later to say that maintenance could not come out that night to fix the air and we could move rooms or share a box fan. Considering that we had just drove 13 straight hours to get there, unpacked everything including groceries for a week and our two small children were already asleep, we decided to stay in the room instead of staying up another few hours to move everything again. So after sleeping in an 80 something degree humid room all night a maintenance man came around 10 the next morning to fix the air. I would have expected some sort of compensation for that night but there was nothing. The next evening I was cooking dinner and all of a sudden the ceiling in the kitchen started raining down all over the counter. I called the front desk to let them know there is some water problem going on in the room above us and the employee seemed disinterested, said thanks and hung up. No one ever came to check out the ceiling in our unit or see what kind of mess it made. Threw away the rained on food that night and ordered pizza. Other than the maintenance issues the stay was very nice, I would just expect for that kind of money that there would be a 24hr maintenance person or more interest in fixing things.

The condo was very clean and it was our home away from home. The view was breathtaking and we weren't far from anything pretty much. We loved AJ's restaurant because it had great food, great service, great views, and live entertainment. We also enjoyed the Harbor Walk. Will definitely go back.
