Be one of the first to enjoy this recently updated condo. Newly remodeled (2022) master bath featuring walk-in shower with white subway tile all around, sliding glass barn doors, full sized, double vanity with quartz counter and new tile flooring. Updated kitchen (2019) includes all stainless steel appliances, quartz counters, white shaker cabinets and new backsplash. The kitchen also has a newly added Keurig coffeemaker. Installed plank flooring (2017) throughout. Updated master bedroom furniture (2018). New luxury Sealy Posturepedic Spring Bloom, 5 star king mattress (2023). Remodeled guest bath (2019). The condo was well kept and super nice! It accommodated my husband and I and our 4 children, ages 5 and under. And on the last day we discovered there was even more sleeping space in the living room in a fold out couch. We will definitely be looking to renting this same condo or any other rental from the Islander on our next Destin trip. With the beautiful rooms, a short walk from the beach, and beautiful views you really couldn’t ask for more!

All the condos are setup to be just like your home away from home. Everything you need is there. Plenty of luggage carts. Friendly people and smiles. We didn’t have any issues at all. Beautiful views from every floor.

Everything was just as the pictures and descriptions said it would be. When we arrived the staff that checked us in was extremely welcoming. Our unit was extremely clean and had everything we needed. There were plenty of towels and extra blankets/sheets in the closet. We brought out own kitchen supplies but there were plenty pots, pans, plates and glasses provided just in case. The view was great and the perfect walking distance to the beach. I guess the only thing that did bother me was the elevators. One of them almost gave me a heart attack the way it was bouncing when we got to our floor. So I just used the other one for the remainder of the trip. I was nervous about this location considering it was our first trip to Destin and you never know what you are going to get until you arrive, but we will definitely be booking again!

The location is perfect. A quick walk to the beach, and two pools available. The beach service was a great addition. The condo was clean and comfortable. The amenities are sparse. They do not stock paper products, spices, cleaning materials, etc. We had to get additional trash bags, toilet paper, etc once we arrived. If you’re used to an AirBnB set up, this is not like that.

It was a little to expensive the view was a corner view you could hardly see the beach there was 2 pools. It was in a great location everything was close by. The condo was beautiful sofa bed was uncomfortable but it's not like I was moving in I would recommend this property .This condo was room 612

612 was a perfect location for Feb sunsets. Condo was clean and nicely furnished. Only complaint was the TV remotes in the living room were a pain and you couldn't broadcast a show to the TV. Other than that nothing, wish we owned the place.

The condo was clean and well comfortable. The closet door in the guest room was off track and the toilet paper rod was missing but those were not big issues. We reported it to the management I would stay here again. We stayed from Thursday to Tuesday. I wish the condo association did towel exchange MWF instead of T and Thurs.

First of all Wow!What a perfect spot.Views of the gulf and the jetty.Daily dolphins to see,beautiful sunrise and sunset.WE LOVE THIS PLACE.CLEAN GORGEOUS HAD EVERYTHING YOU NEED.we walked down to the jetty and saw a marlin jump where the boats were fishing.Saw dolphins playing.This is the perfect vacation spot,not overcrowded very peaceful and resort follows cleaning guidlines always not just for covid.They are always on top of cleaning.

Overall, the Islander is a good place to stay. Being non drinkers, the beach area was like a confined place, with nowhere to move. We decided to use other beaches in the area that more space was available to get away from the drinkers.

This Condo was well furnished and functional. It was clean and the air worked great. It was close to most everything in Destin as most of the Condos there are. The condo would be a much better deal if it had a washer and dryer. I would definitely stay there again.

I had a very nice stay. The condo was clean & nicely decorated. The staff at the Islander were always available & always helpful. Even though there appeared to be a lot of children present at the condo, it appeared safe & had many things to keep the kids occupied (basketball, tennis, swimming pool, etc).

Our condo was well kept. No carpet which is great as I have allergies. Bathrooms need an overall. The Islander staff are excellent and anything that was needed was done right away.

We have been coming to Destin for years and have stayed at the Islander every time. We've been extremely satisfied. While we loved this unit inside, I did fine out that the ocean views are better from the other building (where we normally stay). The unit itself, however, was fabulous and the beach proximity was more important than the view since we spent more time there than on our balcony.

The overall experience of this particular unit and property was wonderful. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay over Labor Day weekend. The short walk to the beach was nice, and the view looking into the harbor from the balcony of the unit was wonderful. The unit was clean and well-kept, which included new flooring.
The other party we were traveling with experienced a little issue with the parking lot curbs, which damaged the front bottom bumper guard on their vehicle. It was very minimal damage, but the property management is working to resolve the situation.
Overall, we are pleased with our experience, and will most likely plan another stay in the future.

It felt like home away from home. The place was clean and accommodated all of our needs. We had everything we needed to cook all our meals and used the grill area a few times as well. During our stay we used the laundry facility for towel exchange and also used the laundry room to wash clothes. Everyone on staff we talked to were very friendly . The only down side was the gate was open all week and people could come and go and use the beach access even though they weren't staying at the facility.
