This beach front vacation condo rental is located in Destin Florida along the Emerald Coast. Condo rental #702 accommodates up to 6 people with a king in the master bedroom, 2 twin beds in the guest bedroom, and a sleeper sofa in the living room. Carpet throughout the unit. Destin's Beach is just steps away with a beautiful view from your private balcony. All units are non-smoking.

We love the beach. Use to live in the area back in the 70's. Had a great view of the beach and gulf waters. This the 4th time we have stayed in this unit and will probably do so on our next visit. It is starting to show its age though. The carpet could use a good cleaning. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay very much.

We usually stay in my aunts condo down the road but we were not able to this and I was nervous about trying something new. We had no complaints after staying here and if we ever need to stay somewhere other than my aunts we will definitely consider the islander first. Next time we will try to stay closer to elevator so the walk is a little shorter. Enjoyed the ocean view at all times of day.

We had a great stay at the Islander, unit 702. We had everything we needed and plenty of space. The view was awesome. I would definitely stay here again. We had a wonder experience as a family!

This condo could definitely use some updates. The mattress in the master is very hard & comfortable. Also, the TV's could be updated, as none are "smart" TV's.

Overall the stay was ok. The ad is somewhat misleading it is a good long walk to the beach from our room. Also the valance over the sliding glass window just came out of the wall while I was sitting in chair underneath it . When I told front desk they never even asked if I was ok.. I did have a headache my last two days after it hit me on head.

My vacation was awesome as always. Great location to stay at with planned activities provided by Islander weekly, keeping the guests entertained. Clean and neatly kept up place. My room unit 702 was also clean and stocked up. All was great but I do have a small complaint. I've stayed at this unit 2 times and the bed closest to the balcony is still damaged. The bed has a dip in the mid section causing who ever sleeps on it to roll to the middle of it. I've reported the issue previously and it's a shame to see that it hasn't been fixed. If it can be fixed great, if it can't it doesn't bother me. I'll just ask for another room on my other vacations and will stay away feom that unit and so on. Hopefully the rest of the rooms on that wing will be on tip top shape. I plan to go back again..

We had a great time the place was very clean,and only steps away from the water. Small beach front if you want front row seats on the water you have to get up early.

The location was perfect - away from the noise of the pools & elevator. A few things could have been improved. The mattress in the master bedroom needs changed or at least a new foam pad. It was very uncomfortable. Lighting in bathrooms was dark - we asked for new light bulbs since 2 were burnt out when we arrived. Bathroom floors/area around tubs needed to be scrubbed.

Just completed our 6th year at The Islander. Many "friends" who now make this journey annually are a part of our "winter family". This condo management helps create a variety of "snowbird activities". The best part, of course, is the friendships formed with the great people who share this experience with us.

We were pleasantly surprised by the property. Everything was clean and well kept. Proximity to the beach was great. The unit was quiet and had a great view of the ocean as you walk into the living area. We tend to cook for ourselves while on vacation so I may be a little critical of the items needed to cook easily. The unit could use a few more frying pans and small cereal bowls. We had a little trouble initially operating the dishwasher since there was not an owner's manual that we could find in the stack of other manuals in the kitchen. Overall we loved the rental and would stay again. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Had a wonderful vacation in Destin. Condo was more then we expected. The only problem we had was that we were on the 7th floor and there was only one operating elevator.

Great place for vacation. The ocean front view is spectacular. Destin beach is so beautiful. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. We like the decoration too. The building front desk staff (Melissa and Hanna) are very friendly. The free beach chair and umbrella definitely is a nice add-on. The beach staff, Rick, is super nice. We had a wonderful time here and will come back!
