I have rented from the islander for years and use to love it but I think it might be time to go to another condo site as much I love the location the unnecessary stress I can do without the ac was not working good enough to cool master sweet the bed was hard as a rock the couch had crumbs of food left on it the new staff was very rude Andrea is always so sweet she is one of the reasons we have rented here but the younger staff members are very rude .I know you can't control what guest wear but we actually left the pool because a young lady was wearing a g-string bottom and wore a Tom to barely covered her nipples not what we want to see in the pool you could see her ..... and that was uncomfortable with that being said I hope I have a change of heart cause I have loved it here in the past but the last 2 stays have been a waste of money for such a beautiful resort

We got here, condo was clean, receptionist was nice. The pools were cleaned every morning which we thought was a plus. Bit of a small walk to the beach. It was our second time staying and will be back.

The condo was very clean. Staff was very nice. When we got there the air conditioning was not working. We stayed 1 night no AC. They tried to fix it then they forgot to reset the circuit breaker. They only comped us for 1 night. We were without AC for 2 nights and 1 day. It’s was 80 degrees in the room.

Very nice unit 2021-09-15

We rented two units for our stay. The other unit was more up to date. This one one nice, and we had a great stay, but it could be updated a bit. Little things like the old shelves in the cabinets and rust in the fridge could be fixed.

Beautiful but furniture needs to be changed 2021-08-31

We have been staying in the islander every time for the past 7 years we come. Never had a problem or have had any complaints. This year in this unit was a little disappointing. It was really dusty and the couches are stained bad. Its time for new couches or get the stains removed. The sheets in the futon were not changed and dirty. The dishes also had stains like they were never washed and just put away.

This was our second time staying at the Islander. Overall nice place and great beach and pool access. My only complaint would be the bed in the master bedroom needs replaced. Otherwise, a great time at a great place!

Great view.... negatives are that it could use updating. The lights are too dim! Also the couch is very uncomfortable do to the sleeper sofa. The Islander as a whole has great service and staff is very friendly and helpful. The scheduling system could use some help. Pool is great! Our 4th year and we hope to make it 5!! We’ll be back!

We enjoyed our stay, but the outlets behind the king bed need to be replaced. Couldn’t keep things plugged in. Also the mattress is hard and needs to be also replaced.

Absolutely amazing 2018-08-16

The Islander is an amazing vacation property! We stayed as a family 4 for a 5 day family reunion. We brought our two teens and they loved the freedom the resort offered them while we loved that we could see them from the balcony pretty much everywhere they went (albeit they were at a distance so they still had their privacy) All of the units were great(clean and orderly) and were conveniently located in the same general area of each other. (We rented 10 rooms.) Do make sure you read the list of items to bring for your stay. Should you need anything, Target is within a 5 minute drive and we went there almost daily. The beach is gorgeous and the umbrella service was fabulous! The pools and grounds were consistently cleaned and sanitized. You could walk along the beach as early and as late as you like. The unit was exactly as expected. The couch was really uncomfortable so we put the couch pillows under the cushions which looked ridiculous, but made the couch perfectly comfortable. The islander was within 20 minutes of the boardwalk and lots of water activities. Plenty of local delicious dining within 15 minutes of the location. Many souvenir shops to grab a little something special. All in all, every member of our family (ages 3 to 72) thoroughly loved the time we spent at the Islander!

HORRIBLE. DO NOT RECOMMEND EVER TO ANYONE 2017-08-16

This place needs to be renewed in every inch of the building. It smells like wet dog and customer service is horrific. They expect you to be clean and they can't even keep it clean themselves so they are paying employees for no reason. The website states a room sleeps 8 & when you get there the paper they have you sign states it sleeps 6 and each additional person is $250!! You have to kidding right!? Every thing in the room is filthy the staff can't even keep it clean themselves. Such a horrendous place to go and enjoy a family vacation. Completely ruined my stay. I stayed in room 703 if anything is still suggesting staying in this ****. You Guys can see it for yourselves.
