This beach front vacation condo rental is located in Destin Florida along the Emerald Coast. Condo rental #708 accommodates up to 6 people with a king in the master bedroom 32' TV , queen in the guest bedroom 22' TV , and a sleeper sofa in the living room 48' TV. Destin's Beach is just steps away with a beautiful view from your private balcony. All units are non-smoking. Owner has provided HD programming + 7 HBO channels.
Vacation rental 708 has just been completely remodeled, freshly painted and has carpet through out. The kitchen has been opened up to extend the view into the living areas, new light fixtures and new stainless appliances . The dining room has a new table, chairs, bar stools, light fixture, fresh paint and decor. The living room features all new furniture, lighting and a large flat screen TV. Both bedrooms have new bedding, lighting, decor and plantation shutters.

The room was great. Not the usual room my best friend an I stay in for our annual Girls Trip, but it was a great room. However, the room appeared to not have been cleaned in great detail. As we were unpacking we found used soap in the guest shower. And during the stay we kept finding Cheerios at the back of the dinning table. This is very unusual, as the cleaning of the rooms is always amazing.

This was our 2nd stay at Islander. As prices have gone up, we dropped down a tier and rented 708. Overall, it was nicely decorated, but was starting to show some wear. The carpet was very stained and bathrooms could use some updating. Kitchen was outfitted well for dishes and cooking materials, but could have used some basics (coffee filters, salt & pepper, etc...). Staff was attentive. The view was the best part (saw dolphins most days).

This was one of my favorite condos that I’ve stayed at it was clean close to the beach and the staff there are very friendly they had everything in the kitchen that we needed even though we didn’t use it we went out and ate the showers waters was hot we will be back to stay at this condo as now Destin is our favorite place!

Stayed six nights in February 2022. Would prefer not to have carpet. Minor maintenance needed such as guest room lamp light bulb needed replaced, shower head needed tightening and handle on patio door was really loose. Maybe have a form for departing guest to report such things because they may be overlooked by someone who is not staying in the unit.

This is a great condo! We have stayed here the last two years in a row and plan to go again next year. We love it! Great location. Close to restaurants and grocery and other shopping. Beautiful views. Easy beach access. Clean. Awesome staff. Family-friendly. A wonderful vacation. Get the condos on the east side for the best gulf view. If you like a harbor view to watch the boats, get a west side condo.

Love staying at the Islander. Wonderful view of the ocean and the room was awesome. Had plenty of dishes for cooking so we didn't have to eat out every meal. Beds were nice and comfy. Only negative this trip was that one of the bed sheets had a stain on it which looked like maybe from coffee. Would also be nice if they extended their pool times to 11 instead of 10. That kind of sucked. 10 is way too early. Also, no one in the office after 11pm so if you lose your key you are stuck til 7am. But overall very pleased with my trip. Would definitely stay again.

Great time at the beach. Staff is very nice and helpful. The room was not as clean as the 8 other times I have stayed. The was a 2 inch cockroach on the floor behind the door. With a smear down the wall where some one smashed it, and something was smeared down the front of the bathroom cabinets.

The room is always very clean. All though we only got to stay 3 days of the 7 planned,due to hurricane Sally , it was fun. They were great and gave us a credit for our next stay.

Unit 708 at The Islander was the perfect little getaway for the week! The condo was updated and had all necessary cooking items needed. Short walk to the beach and the pool and awesome front desk staff! The only thing that was negative is that the condo was a little dirty upon arrival and we did have to clean before using the kitchen utensils and a couple other things. Otherwise - the resort and trip was great, we will be back!!!

We have stayed at the Islander many times over the last few years. While we love everything about the Islander, we find as we "age" that some things are not "senior friendly". The vanities in the bathrooms are too low. Due to knee replacements we would prefer a commode that is also not so low. Sorry, just the facts.

This is a great condo we have stayed in many times. We definitely noticed that certain aspects of the condo is showing its age. Bathrooms are old and carpet is very worn and dirty. Also the cleaning wasn't the best - found an empty strawberry container on the bathroom floor. The tubs weren't very clean and tv remotes were grosss. The staff was great but if you don't want noise don't go on spring break. Kids running wild and parents getting drunk in the pool area and blasting country music. Be prepared

This place was so convenient, comfortable and perfect. The ocean view was perfect! The kitchen made our stay so much easier! The condo was roomy! And Wayne at the front desk was so pleasant and helpful! I would definitely come stay here again! The property was convenient. Easy walk to the beach. Pool was nice to have.

Great location. Very nice condo. The only reason this condo doesn't get 5 stars are the bathrooms. They are very outdated compared to the rest of the condo. Shower curtain was moldy. Management replaced as soon as we alerted them to the problem.

The rental was clean, well appointed and served as a perfect home-away-from home for the week! The only minor issue during the stay was Wifi availability was a little iffy. Some days it worked, some days not.

Our room had a great view and was very clean. The only problem we had was the master bed. It was very low and very very hard. We are 68+ and suffered with our backs all week from sleeping on this bed.
