Updated Unit 212; overlooks pool; FREE BEACH SERVICE; short walk to the beach
Avoid the elevators with Islander Condo #212 for easy access to the parking lot and the quick walk to the gorgeous white sand of Destin’s beach. This condo sleeps up to 6 people with a beautiful sunset view from your west-facing private balcony overlooking one of the two onsite pools.
New updates for 2023 (new pics coming soon!) include a Washer/Dryer unit and walk-in shower in the fully renovated primary bathroom and LVP flooring in both bedrooms!
Condo 212 is nicely furnished with 3 flat screen TVs, new lighting, ceiling fans in both bedrooms, new furniture in living room, dining room, both bedrooms, plantation shutters in both bedrooms, and a coastal, relaxed feel throughout! The kitchen is complete with a full-size refrigerator, electric stove and oven, and dishwasher. You’ll also have all the dishes, silverware, and accessories you need to prepare your favorite meals.
The open Living Room has a 65” flat-screen HDTV, comfortable seating, and a couch that unfolds into a Queen Sofa Sleeper with a Memory Foam Gel Mattress so your extra guests can sleep easy.
The Primary Bedroom has a King bed with a Tempur-Pedic Mattress and a 26” flat-screen HDTV.
The Secondary Bedroom has a Queen and a Twin bed with a 31” flat-screen HDTV and DVD player.
All units are non-smoking and don’t allow pets. Complementary beach amenities include 2 chairs and umbrellas staffed by an on-duty attendant March 1st to October 31st who will also facilitate extra beach activities for a fee.

I enjoyed my stay at the Islander. Front desk was very nice. Beach right at your convenience. Unit had plenty to cook with and plenty of towels. OMG the beds were amazing. Water temperature was perfect. Beach service set up was a breeze.

This is the second time I have stayed at this property. I absolutely love the private access to the beach. Everything is always so clean and well kept. I love all the daily activities (painting on the beach, dive in movie etc). I greatly appreciate the gated community as well. The location is perfect and close to everything!!

Every aspect of our stay at the Islander was exceeded! We had had the opportunity to stay at this property twice before and I must say that the third time was the charm! Upon our return to Destin, we will stay at the Islander again!

This unit is nicely furnished and decorated. We loved the location. Pools are warm and very close. Beach is just a short walk (less than 5 mins; our 2 year old toddler was able to do it). Kitchen and bathrooms were spotless; however some of the furniture had visible layer of dust and floors are not being cleaned properly (which is unfortunately a common occurrence in most rental properties). They appear clean but after walking with no shoes on, our socks or bottom of our bare feet were filthy. Also, there were absolutely no cleaning supplies under the sink, so bring your own if you want/need to wipe the table or countertops after eating/cooking. Not saying that as a negative; I was just used to other rentals having at least a bottle of windex or something and a dish soap if you want to wash some pots by hand.
Property provided good amount of nice clean white towels plus beach towels.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and plan to come back again.

We had a great time. The property was clean and well-maintained. The manager provided great customer service. We will recommend the property to friends and relatives. We enjoyed tennis, pickleball, swimming pool, and the beach, plus visiting local attractions.

This was our first time and Destin and we absolutely feel in love with the islander! The staff was very friendly, everything was clean, the beach was so close. The view from our room was the pool but if you looked out you could see the beach which was very nice! Definitely booking for next summer!

Condo was very clean and appropriately stocked with enough essentials to get us started. Well-stocked kitchen was plus as well. The Islander is in a great location and has nice amenities for kids of varying interests. My only recommendation would be to post check-out instructions in the room and/or email them out much earlier. We had already left before we received that email. Would highly recommend!

The property exceeded our expectations. The condo and all public areas were very clean. We appreciated the laundry service and the friendly staff.
The location was great with easy access to restaurants, shops and golf courses. We very much enjoyed our stay and will book the same unit again.

It was a great stay. A couple things to improve on is we had several kids with us ( they get dirty and need more baths at times )and getting them to give you more towels and washcloth than what you exchanged wasn’t happening and the pool areas were very dark at night and dangerous having a smaller kid could see where u was walking And last but not least we had an issue of our card not work and having to go the front desk several times but over all amazing stay

My husband and I were very pleased with our 4 week stay at the Islander. The unit was very clean, the mattress was the most comfortable we've experienced (and we plan to buy one for our home!). We requested maintenance 4 times for minor repairs and they were on our doorstep within minutes. We enjoyed weekly linen exchange. In general, we were impressed with the inhouse rental experience. The beach is beautiful with surf fishing and fishing off the Jetty available. Most importantly, we were quickly welcomed into the community. We participated in daily Pickleball, afternoon floating in the pool, and the Snowbird final Pool Party. Owners and long time renters were very welcoming. We've already recommended the Islander to friends that will be coming in April. Well done!

Unit was comfortable and had everything we needed for our weekend getaway, beds were comfortable balcony was efficient with table and chairs. Overall a great family oriented condo with pool and accommodation. Would recommend and stay again in the future.
